I suggest working in the field that you are interested in. You may need to get a degree first.
Learn all you can about the business, good and bad and go on LinkedIn to ask questions from experts in the field.
You may decide it’s not the right field for you or you may see ways to improve it if you open your own place.

Starting early in your chosen career field is always beneficial, as it allows you to gain valuable experience. If you have the opportunity to begin right away, even while you're still in school, it's a good idea to seize it. The most crucial factor at the moment is experience, which will help you establish your own business and brand. We must inevitably put into practice what we've learned in school, although the real-world application often differs. Acquiring knowledge can only be advantageous.
The key point here is to be thorough with your research to ensure a strong start, which is crucial.
You might want to begin with a mapping exercise of your field and identify your area of specialization. This process can also help you assess your skills, which could be beneficial in determining your startup costs.

I vote for first, gaining more experience through working because those are valuable experiences that you will not be taught in schools (graduate and upper levels).

For me, internships were the perfect starting place. Most of the time, the company will not expect anything big from an intern. However, you still get to see the roles and work of a professional in that career. They may also train you and give you some sample tasks to work on during your time.
Internship opportunities generally vary depending on the field. Nonetheless, I strongly believe you can find internships in most areas. It may require a bit of researching and finding companies that have new positions. I would look at job boards, ask around your social circles, or even go to a career fair.
Best of luck!
