What should I write my college essay about?
What should I write my college essay about? I know it has to be very unique and really tell a story and I would really like some ideas as to what I can write about that would be compelling to admissions committees.

I remember my college essay ended up being about my social identity and how the way I look and who my parents are shaped me. I would suggest looking at the essay questions for the colleges you're applying to and thinking about a personal time in your life that makes you think about that particular subject. If you're applying for multiple colleges: consider focusing in one on main story you would to talk about and each one but word or twist the story in a unique way depending on what the prompt is asking.
As an example: If you want to use a story about your time on a baseball team and you're applying to two different colleges. College A has a prompt asking for just a life experience and for you to describe how it shaped your character. Meanwhile College B is asking how you faced an obstacle and what you did to overcome it. For the college A application, you could try doing a bit more of an overview of your time on the baseball team, and in the College B essay, you could focus more on the stress of one particular game or something.
To sum up: Pick one moment in your life that you really wanna write about, and frame that moment to fit each of the essay prompts you're given.
Hope this helps and I wish you a good luck.

I would choose something that you are really passionate about and something meaningful to you. It will make it easy to write about and showcase a facet of who you are with the admissions committee, something that you really want to share with them.
