Good question, Christopher!

Taking the ACT can be intimidating, but there are a lot of resources available to help you. First, it helps to know what type of math to expect so that you can focus your studying on those types!

The ACT Math Test includes questions that cover pre-algebra, elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, plane geometry, coordinate geometry, and trigonometry. If you have taken the ACT Math Test before, try to think back on which questions were difficult for you to help identify if you need to prioritize one or more of these topics when studying.

There are also many free ACT practice tests available online! Here are a few websites you can check out to take these practice tests:
- https://www.varsitytutors.com/act_math-practice-tests
- https://highschooltestprep.com/act/math/

Also, if you do not score well on the math section of the ACT you may score higher on the SAT, which is less math intensive. If you will be using these test scores to apply for colleges and have an idea of which colleges you are interested in attending and what you plan to major in, you can plan which tests to take and which results to submit accordingly. Some institutions will request both test scores, but most will accept scores from one or the other! If you plan to attend a college that will accept only SAT scores and will not be entering into a math-intensive field, you may want to try taking the SAT and using that score for your college applications instead.
Thank you comment icon I Really appreciate your input Thank you so much! Christopher
