I didn't attend college, so I can't personally recommend one. However, North Carolina has some great options like UNC Chapel Hill, NC State, and Duke. It's important to consider what suits your goals and situation. My journey took a different path, and I've found success in supervising a facility maintenance company owned by my wife.

Now that is a tough question! Ideally, you should look for a college or university that aligns perfectly with your dreams and mirrors your personality. You might have heard about these popular schools on a national scale:
1) Duke
2) University of North Carolina Chapel Hill
3) Wake Forest University
4) North Carolina State
5) Elon
Just to share my experience, I studied at a liberal arts college in Greensboro NC, known as Guildford College. It's a small school with about 1,100 students, offering small classes and a warm community feeling. You'll find amenities (grocery store, restaurants, etc . . .) just a short walk away from the campus, which is super convenient especially if you don't own a car. Now, Greensboro is a mid-size town, so if you like city living, it might require a bit of getting used to.
