If you have skills to play in college, I would consider getting on with a college team.
To make inquiries, I would put together an Athletic Resume and Cover Letter.
It is much like a job resume, except you will be highlighting your soccer skills, abilities, positions, awards, academics, and other athletic achievements.
There are examples of these resume's found on the internet.
After creating your resume, send it to the coaches of your selected colleges. Send it through postage, because they get thousands of emails, and you want it to land right on their desk.
I have used this technique with many of my student athletes, with a great amount of success in getting them attention.

Hi Cesar! If you're not already on a club soccer team in town, you could do a Google search for soccer clubs in Durham. If money is tight, some clubs have scholarship programs that reduce the cost. Generally, club coaches are very knowledgeable and can advise you on how to progress.
In general though, the best advice I can give is to practice every day! My son went from being one of the worst players on his team years ago to now being one of the best, simply because he started practicing his dribbling, passing ("wall work" passing against a wall), and juggling, and playing a lot of pick-up soccer games. You can also search YouTube for drills or moves to work on. I read once that Christian Pulisic used to watch a dribbling move on YouTube, then he'd go in the backyard to practice it until he nailed it.
But during all that practice and hard work, remember to enjoy the journey -- have fun playing and spending soccer time with friends! Good luck!

Hi Cesar -
Becoming a professional soccer player takes hard work and dedication, just like any other profession. It's already a good start you have passion for soccer! If you are not already playing in a local league, I encourage you to start. There are likely one or two players on your team who have connections to the professional world. They can help you navigate the path to becoming a professional soccer player. We are rooting for you!
Join a local league (recreational is OK)
Connect with players
Move up to semi-professional league
Look for a good coach to improve your skill
Make soccer your daily passion!

It's all about making steady progress. Don't stress about achieving greatness instantly, instead, focus on setting achievable goals for each season. Start by asking yourself questions like:
1) What skills can I enhance to boost my performance? Identify specific drills like dribbling, juggling, passing, trapping, and more that you can practice regularly.
2) Do I feel exhausted during the game? If so, consider incorporating running into your off-season routine to increase your cardio and lung capacity.
3) Do I fully comprehend my team's strategy and its impact on my position? The more you understand your role and what your team expects from you, the more effective you'll be on the field.
4) Am I the best teammate I can possibly be? Bring a positive attitude to the field and motivate your teammates. Even if you're not the most vocal, leading by example is a powerful tool.
Aim to be a versatile soccer player, but remember to enjoy the game as well!
