I would volunteer for positions within your community.
This could mean mentoring or coaching local YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, high school or AAU teams.

Hi Jayden! I'm a football mom and have a son who just left for school on both football and academic scholarships. You want to make sure you get as much footage as possible and have a good video put together of your highlights. Keep your social media clean from anything negative or anything that takes the attention away from your talents! Scouts and coaches often check your social media. Grades are a must! Be sure you are doing all you can to show that education is your first priority. Sign up for combines and any training camps in your area that you can attend. You may also be able to find some pop warner coaches that have played in college or higher level that have great connections to get you exposure as well.
Good luck to you!

It's fantastic that you've developed a passion for sports! The realm of sports, whether pursued professionally or as a hobby, offers a wealth of opportunities to acquire valuable life skills beyond mastering your chosen sport. Here are some strategies I've observed successful young athletes employ:
1. Look for clubs or teams in your local area, preferably within your school, or associations that offer coaching. These organizations can help you join a team or provide the training you need to improve your game.
2. Experiment with different sports initially, but consider focusing on one to hone your skills over time. This approach not only allows you to excel in one sport, but it also demonstrates your determination and tenacity, which can be an asset when applying for college.
3. Consult with your school or community counselors to learn about potential opportunities, scholarships, or talent scouts visiting your school. This could be an excellent way to get noticed and secure a spot on a team.
4. Beyond the sport, it's essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and a positive mindset are all within your control!
I wholeheartedly wish you success in your sports endeavors. Good luck!

Hey Jayden, I pursued a degree in sports management from Georgia Southern University, and I want to share with you some actions I took that helped me secure positions with the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Dream.
- My first step was choosing a university renowned for its sports management program.
- I became an active member of the Sport Management Club on campus - this was a crucial move.
- Regularly, I engaged in discussions with my professors about professional sports careers and sought their advice.
- I volunteered at numerous sports events such as the Junior PGA and Disney World of Sports, thanks to the sport management club.
- I completed an on-campus internship with the Sports Marketing department. I encourage you to seize every internship opportunity throughout college, starting from your freshman year.
The sports industry can be an exciting and fulfilling place to build a career. It's crucial to start networking as early as possible.
