It will help you gain some confidence and knowledge. But it is not the only way. You have to really think about your future. I opened my own business and dropped out of college. But being a business owner is not for everyone

Hi,
College positions you to have discipline, responsibility and a learner's mindset. College is more than an education but helps you critically think for all of the upcoming challenges you will have in your life. I am proud that you are in college and pushing through. The good news, if it is going quicky for you, before you know it you will be graduating. You will be prepared and have the confidence to succeed in any field you choose. Remember, your mind only knows that you tell it. Continue believing in yourself and know when you get that degree, you accomplished the beginnings of growth mindset, and knowing how to turn challenges into purpose.
You got this! Keep pushing.

The direct value of knowledge you gain in college is dependent on what you are studying and what you end up doing post-college. There are important lessons and knowledge items you'll gain that could be critical. If your studying Veterinary Medicine and you operating on my dog, I hope you learned what is what when you get inside. Many of the actual knowledge bites you get will not be used directly: technologies change, you may have a job that needs other skills, etc. but the experience and the ability to work is something that is universal in the work world. I am a manger in Technology so when I see a resume of a college graduate, I know much of what they learned in their freshman year may not be the most relevant as technology has changed a lot in 4 years, but I do know that the person in front of my committed to a goal and spent 4 years moving forward to it. I know that they can handle stress, deadlines, expectations and deal with people. While I may not bank 100% on all the knowledge bits, they will need I can bank on the fact that they have the ability and willingness to work and learn and that is all that I ask. hope this helps and keep at it and remember as important as it is to learn the answers is to understand the why and how you are looking for them!

College education is very important in terms of career development, better job options, and self-improvement. I will bring a simple but clarifying example: Remember what main sections are included in CV. One of them is education. It is so since education is one of the most important characteristics of human life.
Keep studying, do your best to stand out in your academic journey.

Hello J, I’m assuming you’re asking about college in general and the challenges associated with keeping up with the expectations, not only from an academic side, but the reality that its a stepping stone to real life. I applaud you for putting your concerns out there, and asking the question. While the actual degree is not required for everything you do, it does help get your foot in the door and provide an even playing field in many cases. There are also many careers where a degree may not be required, but those options also might require some kind of training or certification credentials. I am not sure what year you’re in and what your area of interest is in. One way to seek clarity is to seek out others who may be feeling the same way, or talk to a counselor who may also help direct you. Good luck and bravo to you for saying how you feel!
