Hello Daylnn
Your resume should include;
A short introduction (tell about yourself): Like a personal statement
Education (previous dates, grades, courses etc.)
Extracurricular activities and/or work experiences: volunteering, and/ or internship
Interests
Note: do not forget to add your soft and hard skills as well as emotional intelligence. If not needed, you should summarize what you had experienced on your work experience.
I hope this helps.

Your resume aims to tell the story of who you are and why you’d be a good fit. The most you can do that through solid job history, volunteer work and listing relevant skills, the better of you will be.
Most resumes are filtered through a computer, so in addition to having a good one, I think networking is also very important. Sometimes who you know is just as important as what you know.

Hi Dalynn! That's a great question. I agree with the others said - your resume is meant to tell your story. It will always be changing as you gain new and different experiences. Volunteer activities, club experiences, internships, etc are all great experiences to add to your resume to showcase leadership, team work, problem solving skills. What's been helpful for me when writing or updating my resumes is to understand the new job I'm looking for and writing my resume so that it's relevant for that specific job when possible.
Best of luck! You got this!

Hello, Dalynn !
A resume in general has to be good enough that the person reading it wants to interview/meet you. One person may think it is the greatest resume, while another person may think it lacks the qualities in a candidate that they are looking for. On the other hand, that same resume may impress another person greatly. It's based on the content and what the person you send it to is looking for.
The first step to consider for a resume is composition. How your resume will look. Than you can decide if you want to compose the resume yourself or hire someone to compose it for you after you provide them with all the information. If you can invest in it, I advise hiring a professional resume writer. If you do it yourself, there is a helpful website called Beam Jobs which has wonderful, up to date information, sample resumes and templates you can utilize.
In the meantime, I would suggest that you prepare a list of all of your experiences with education, trainings, jobs and volunteer work. Make a chronological list and place the start and stop dates near all your employment and volunteer work. A good resume would be filled with lots of experience and the education can include special courses named and at which school. If you believe that you do not have much experience, consider getting a part time job or doing volunteer work. You can also include information about any clubs or groups you have been a member of. So basically, the resume is the initial impression before a person meets you. A professional resume writer can bring out a lot to help you.
Best wishes !
