Terrell’s Answer

I am an entrepreneur and run two companies. I love setting my schedule as a business owner/business manager. You can't beat the flexibility. Also, there is no cap on how much money you can make when running your business. The sky is the limit! You constantly find yourself figuring out how to expand and bring in additional revenue. I suppose growing revenue is the goal for any business manager.

Elizabeth’s Answer

Making a difference in people's lives. As a manager, I've been able to offer people jobs that helped them get back on their feet, provide critical time off to support an employee during difficult times, encourage them when they feel deflated, rally behind them when they need extra support, elevate their successes to management, help forge a path toward a new career, laugh with them during the good times and care for them during the bad.

Managers are there to inspire, to lead, and to champion their people. It is a wonderful responsibility that shouldn't be taken lightly. Managers who are task-masters/demanding/arrogant/manipulative serve no purpose to anyone but themselves. Be humble and serve with kindness and heart and success with follow for everyone!
