Of all the jobs that a diesel mechanic could have, which job is the highest paying?

I am a 9th grade student that is planning on being a diesel mechanic. I would like to know if this job is worth my time and effort. Answering this question will answer 2 other questions I have. Will this job provide enough money for me to buy the things I want? And will I enjoy this job within this career field?

Highest paying that I have personally seen is garbage trucks and heavy equipment with lead techs and your level 1/A techs making anywhere from 33‐39$ a hours with over time, bonuses, and great benefits. Just depends on what you want to do. Also take that as a rough estimate, you can make more but for your top tier mechanics that's usually the bracket you fall under. With overtime you can comfortably say 100k+ a year. Hope this helps
