A nursing career is demanding but offers the reward of making a significant impact on patients’ lives. The job involves high-stress situations, physical demands, and emotional challenges. Essential skills include clinical expertise, strong communication, critical thinking, emotional resilience, organizational abilities, and teamwork. If you pursue nursing, focus on a solid education, gain hands-on experience, and be prepared for the responsibilities and rewards of the profession.

The difficulty of nursing really depends on which area of nursing you are going to practice in. The is such a wide variety of nursing careers, each with their own challenges and difficulty levels. It all depends on what kind of nurse you want to be. Working as a nurse in a rehabilitation facility is definitely different than working as a nurse in an intensive care unit. Skills that you should develop are varied. Science, math, and the like are very important. Skills in communication and organizational skills are important. I would say that critical thinking is probably the most important skill and takes many years to develop. Always keep learning!
