Hi Honestie -
Starting with sketched helps you to test your design before putting in the actual work. This gives you a chance to try different things and having a better vision before beginning the the creation process.
If you don't and go right into creation, everything you end up not liking and wanting to change would mean that you have to undue work completed and redo again. By sketching you can accomplish this without having to redo and thus save you time and effort.
Also, sketching may further help with the creative process and give you new ideas.
Best of luck!

Hi there,
Sketching helps create a plan ahead of time. You can make as many changes as you want until you get it right. If you going into designing a room without a floor plan and buy a piece of furniture that doesn’t fit, you weren’t prepared. This helps you scale rooms so you can get the square footage.
