Conor’s Answer

While I didn't personally switch my major in college, I know many people that changed their major 3-4 times - don't be afraid to try a few different things out early on in college to see what you are passionate about. I also know people who got a college degree for a major and pursued a completely different career, so you also don't have to let your major define you and what you do.

Great question !
While many schools ask you to declare a major as a freshman you can change that as you go. Focus on getting the core graduation requirements completed as you explore subject areas and utilize your college advisor and professors - they are great resources to help guide, answer questions.

Deandra’s Answer

Hello,

I remained consistent with my majors, choosing to double up on English Literature and Biology with a pre-med track, as my aspiration was to attend medical school. Here's a useful strategy for you: Begin with a broad subject that sparks your curiosity. Gradually incorporate additional courses that align with your interests. This approach will aid in discovering and refining your passions until you find a path that genuinely excites and fulfills you.

Rian’s Answer

Hi Jonah,
I switched my major once in college. I did it because I realized I was gonna be more happy pursuing something else, than I was in my previous major. It's not uncommon to switch your major multiple times so don't feel pressured to make the absolute correct decision your first time.

Best of luck to you!
