Hi Hayah,
The first thing I would suggest is to create a resume or a CV. Even if you don’t have a lot of previous job experience, you can capture your skills, strengths, and interests.
Next, apply early and often to roles you are interested in. You can set up notifications for new job postings at your employers of choice or on applications like LinkedIn.
Interviewing is a skill that you have to develop, so practice, practice, practice. Ask friends and family to give you mock interviews and interview for roles you may not be interested in, you can always turn down the offer if it's for a role you’re not interested in. Practice makes perfect!
Most importantly, don’t get discouraged. Not every application will get an interview and not every interview will lead to a job offer. Keep applying and ask your interviewers for feedback on your interview so you can continue to grow in your interviewing skills.
Good luck!

You should base your search upon whatever you enjoy doing most and what you have a passion for.
Hey Charles, this is good general advice but I was wondering if you have any practical tips on getting a job?

Networking is the key to getting a job. Like the old saying "its not what you know but who you know". Reach out to as many recruiting sites as possible and tell as many people as you know that you are looking for a job. Eventually you will land one.

Try to make a nice CV that showcase all your qualifications well. This will be used for all job applications. You can also highlight skills based on the job you are applying to. If you have good communication skills or presentation skills this is very useful for the interview. Also confidence plays a key role specially during interviews. Having the necessary skills and qualifications are really important for getting particular job. To make it easy you can sign up on different websites that can notify you about the job openings. Having LinkedIn profile will be also very helpful. Often times making contacts does help to get certain jobs. So networking can make it easier too

Apply to ask many jobs as you possibly can! Seriously. The hard truth about job postings is that most of them won't respond to you or work out. If you have some personal connects to find a job, that is fantastic, but if you're responding to online job postings, expect to apply to dozens before you get a positive response. It can be disheartening when you don't get a response or are turned down, but knowing this from the start can help soften the blow. Remember, when applying to a lot of job postings, you don't need to be the perfect candidate for every single one. Employers often list their "ideal" candidate in the job requirements, but are actually a bit more flexible. You only need one to work out!

The best tips to get a job require confidence and putting your best foot forward. The first impression is the most important impression for someone who does not know you and who has to make a decision to invite you to be a part of their company. Remember to not make a decision of not applying based on a fear that you will not get it or you are not good enough. Your willing to learn attitude goes a long away especially as there are a lot of jobs that provide training so get your feet wet and you might surprise yourself on how well you advance
