Are there good science schools with family living?
I am a full time student and a single mom. My college is about 45 minutes away and I am struggling trying to find time for everything and still making sure I am with my kids everyday. I am living in a pretty toxic environment and need a place that has family living. Most colleges don't unless I am going for nursing or teaching #wildlife-biology #parenting #housing #family #college

NC State has family-friendly and focused options for living and is an incredible science and engineering focused university. I knew several students in my classes over the years that were raising families while taking coursework and working, all from on/near campus. Here is a link to one example of housing focused on families and graduate students.

The surrounding area of Raleigh/Durham is phenomenal. I have a little one and can't imagine a better place to raise a child. If you find yourself interested in learning more about NC State as a result of this, please let me know how I can help.
Good luck!

Recommend looking into the State of Washington. I currently live here and there are great family friendly schools, some of which I have seen have better day cares and after school care than the civilian ran or even military care I use.
