Hey Destiny,

I'll try to make it easier to understand. The key difference between them both are the credits you take between them.

Bachelor of Science has more credits required for completion than a BA. Meaning, you are more focus on taking courses surrounding the specific major. Less GE courses, classes that are relating to your degree.

Bachelor of Arts is less credit for the completion of degree program, that being said, gaining a BA offers more diverse courses rather than focusing the specific major.

Hi Destiny,

Congrats on wanting pursue a career in graphic design. There really isn't a difference on wether if the degree designation is Arts or Science. Most college/universities house their majors under Arts & Sciences, Arts, Sciences, Arts & Letters etc. Just make sure all the classes in the curriculum are design focused.

Good luck
