Laila’s Answer

Hello! Your interests should guide your choices. A good starting point could be enrolling in elective classes. They're fantastic for discovering various fields. Additionally, try to pinpoint career paths that are unfamiliar to you. Be proactive and dig deeper into what a typical day in these roles might look like. You can do this by consulting with a professor or mentor in that field. Hope you find this advice useful!

Paul’s Answer

Make a choice that you individually feel the most comfortable.

Sometimes we might experience peer pressure, from others, and make decisions that may not be best for us.

If you want to go to college, and stay close to home, then find a institution that has good resources and the major that you want.

I always encourage people to find something they love to do in life. Because if you are doing something you love, prosperity and life achievements will follow.

And do not be discouraged if you make a mistake. Because mistakes are the only way we learn in life.

Hey Sarah-

If the question is asking what are good choices you can make as a teenager, I think there are a few:

Get involved with Clubs, Volunteer and explore as many electives as possible.

This is a time for you to have fun and enjoy life, while also trying to understand what you enjoy.

Racheal’s Answer

Hi. I am a bit unclear as to what you may be referring to as to what is the best choice to make as a teenager? Is this in reference to what you have in the question about going into psychology ? If so I can answer that question for you.

A career om psychology has multiple path that can leas you into the role of reseach, teaching, consulting, assessor, clinician. Some people engage in a multiple roles. I say find what is interesting to you to help guide, however if you haven't started college yet, taking the general psychology course will be your first introduction into identifying what specific area you are interested in learning more about as you navigate college life.
I encourage students to take a number of psychology courses to get a feel of what to expect, professors who could mentors and the type of work you can do in your career.

Hope this helps!

Tony’s Answer

As a teenager,

The best career choice is to try and see. You can't really known what a job would be like until you try it. The earlier you try it, the earlier you know if it's for you or not.

Ideally, you should seek for a balance of something of what you love while you are paid but also contribute positively to the world according to the Ikigai Concept

Jesse’s Answer

Personally there is no greater choice than the other my opinion to you is to do something you enjoy as a hobby there's careers in every field for everything stuff you wouldn't even imagine they pay people to do so I wouldn't stress over it too much remember whatever you choose you'll be trying to do it for the next 30 to 40 years so if you don't enjoy it well than it becomes work, hard work and your work day does reflect on your personally life eventually and you don't want to be unhappy and dreading to going to your job everyday just a suggestion
