Hi Silver,
To become a lawyer, you first need to earn an undergraduate degree (bachelors) in any field (4 years).
You need to pass the admission test for law school (LSAT) and apply to law school.
Law school takes 3 years and you'll graduate with a JD.
You then need to take the bar exam.
I see you are located in Ontario. You find some more details specific for Ontario here:

I hope this helps, and good luck on your journey!

Hi Silver:
I am an American lawyer and can not offer much advice about Canadian requirements. Karin has provided you a link to Canadian requirements.
In the US you need a 4 year college degree in any major. You then need to take the LSAT (Law School Admission Test) and then apply to school. Law School is usually 3 years (I got out in 2 and a half because I went summers too) . Once your are done with law school you need to take a bar exam. Once you pass the bar you are admitted to practice.
Silver, the law practice in Canada is more like England. I'd suggest you visit the web site Karin provided.
I can tell you, as a semi-retired lawyer, it is a great profession and you'd make a great lawyer!
