What's the best job that can pay off college?

I am just wondering because I am 6 grader.
I would like to pay of college with no loans.
I would like when I am 14 teen to get a workers permit.
That's only 2 years away.
I don't care if I work at a nursing home.
Just till I'm 16 and able to deliver pizza. #college #employment #work-life-balance

Thank you comment icon Hi Ezra, I would also suggest considering scholarships to pay for college. Scholarships are basically free money that you receive and it does not have to be repaid. Some scholarships for college are merit-based. You earn them by meeting or exceeding certain standards set by the scholarship-giver. Merit scholarships might be awarded based on academic achievement or on a combination of academics and a special talent, trait, or interest. Other scholarships are based on financial need. You can learn about scholarships in several ways, including contacting the financial aid office at the school you plan to attend and checking information in a public library or online. Jerel L.

Hello again,
Wonderful questions. I know that you can save money for college. Guess what if you get good grades you can get scholarships to go to college too. If you major in athletics and do well you can get scholarships to help pay for college too. Grants are out there and there are many places you can go to look for them at the time you apply for college. Great job thinking about your future and going to college. Hang in there you will do just fine.

If you major in education the federal government will forgive your student loans at 20% for each year that you teach in a school that are declared a Title Program school. You also have some employers that provide tuition reimbursement.
I work in the allied health field and some employers recruit with a job benefit of student loan reimbursement.

There are a lot of options out there to help you pay for college. Many of them go unused because students don't know they are there! The best way is to become involved in a school, community, or church organization that offers scholarships to students. These are helpful because you are better able to get to know the people who are in charge of handing out the scholarships. Another way is based on grades or merit. If you have good grades you can apply for scholarships which usually require an essay and history about your academic performance. There is also support out there for special groups, such as children of employees of a certain company or children who are the first in their family to go to college. Ask your school counselor to help show how to get involved locally. You can also look up websites to help in your search, such as https://www.unigo.com/scholarships. You can do it! Good luck!

I would recommend looking into working at a summer camp. They employ people just like you every summer who are just needing workers for a few months. You can make a lot of new friends and memories as well as get certified for lifeguarding and ropes course work. You can use your lifeguard certifications outside of the summer too if you need to find extra part-time work.

Hi Ezra!
One of the best ways to handle college costs is to do it in a manner that keeps costs down. One good way is to start at a community college, where the costs are low and you can get involved in coop and internship programs and take advantage of special programs available through many community colleges. If you plan on going to a four year college, your credits will transfer. There are many careers that you can achieve with the two years education from a community college and earn more than a person graduating from a four year school!! Talk to your teachers about the type of career they may see you fitting into and look into your local community college. Also, talk to the reference librarian at your local library about grants, scholarships, and tuition aid programs. Best of luck. Send thank you notes to those who help you. I would like to help further if I can. Please let me know how you are doing!!!
