How easy is it to get a veterinarian job right out of grad. school?

I plan on majoring in animal sciences/pre-veterinary studies in college and I'm curious if it would be easy to get a job right away. Am I going to be able to get a job right away or am I going to have to search for that right employer? Or is it all just simply the luck of the draw? #veterinary #animals #work #grad-school

That depends on what kind of job you want in veterinary medicine, Kaylee, and where you want to find that job. A job in lab animal medicine/research could be easy to find in a metropolitan area, while a job working with cattle and sheep, for instance not so much. So where your interests lie will determine the answer to your question. The more broad ranging your job interests are, and the more different places you are willing to move will increase the odds of finding a job.

It depends on where you want to work and how professional you are about your profession but the truth is the chances of getting job is slim as there are actually no numerous job especially here in Nigeria

Yes it is specific to Nigeria, the opportunities here is small compare to other countries
