As a nurse, your certification or license level requires a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical practice. This is crucial in understanding the intricacies of a patient's medical health and in honing your unique skills as a nursing professional. Excellent communication is a must-have attribute for a nurse, as is the ability to recognize your own limitations and seek clarification when something is unclear. Remember, a great nurse is always learning, gaining new insights every day from both colleagues and patients. While some computer skills can be beneficial, don't worry if you're not tech-savvy yet. These skills can be acquired during your orientation. If nursing is your true calling, stay focused on your goals and don't let anything stand in your way. The rewards of this profession are truly worth the effort.

hi you’re so brave for asking this!
A nurse needs to be organized, kind, caring, and strong.
All the medical skills you will need will be taught in your program.
There are 100s of nursing skills but once you get a job that list will become a lot shorter.
