How do I find a great internship in Health Information Management?

It seems as if most of these positions are seeking candidates with experience. During the last semester of the degree I'm required to intern and am curios to know how to secure a great internship which would result in a long term position.

Hi Heather,

When you are doing your search for internships, make sure you aren't looking at typical job openings. I recommend filtering your search by internships only. Good luck!

Hospitals have many volunteer opportunities as well as internships which can provide opportunities to meet professionals in positions and possible careers in the Health Professions.
