Football is such a fun sport!
Being successful in Football requires hard work, practice, safe form, strength, diet, teamwork and accountability.
Football is a team sport- so it is important to work together as a team and everyone must do their job while supporting each other and trusting teammates on the field.
You need to take care of your body. The off seasons are key to gaining strength at the gym, eating properly to build muscle and also work on fast twitch movements for speed on top of gaining strength.
Technique is key. Having a strong base as a lineman, using your hands and practicing catching balls without your body for wide receiver or proper tackling for safety are some key things you can work on yourself.
Working with you coaches is also key. Football coaches are generally tough on their players to try to get the most out of them. You should listen to your coaches and work on your game in order to win.
You need to be prepared. You can watch film, look for tendencies and figure out how a team might execute against you and be able to attack their weaknesses with your strengths to win.
Stay safe and have fun!
