Is commercial piloting a low or high stress job ?
I am a high-school student in Minnesota and I don't know if I would like to be a commercial pilot. It is my top option but I know every career has some disadvantages

Like any other job they're highs and lows. there are days that are more stressful than others. Then their are days that are easier than others. the longer you're in the industry and the more you know overall you have less stressful days. in the beginning when everything's new and you're learning a bunch of things on top of dealing with the stresses of the job it can seem exceedingly stressful, but with time your ability to handle the stress and the amount of things that will stress you out reduces.

A lot of the stress depends on you. How quickly you adapt to your role that the changes that happen during the course of your day. Your learning and growth coupled with your level of confidence helps you address the changes that are happening in a much calmer manner. That keeps your stress level low. Any job will have its good days and bad days. You take the good and look at why it was good, what you can take from that and use again to help the day stay good. You take the bad days, review what was bad and why. Define ways to work with that to make things better next time, but don't dwell on it. Use it to make yourself better. Learn, grow, be confident and your stress will take care of itself.
