How many hours do you work a week, or a day?
Me looking into jobs I also look at the amount of hours needed to work because I don't want my whole life to be work.

Generally, my workweek spans 40 hours, but there are time of the year when I am more busy and put in extra hours, extending my workweek to 45-55 hours. It's crucial to prioritize self-care during these demanding times. I make it a point to schedule time for outdoor walks, socializing, and enjoying hobbies. The concept of work-life balance varies for everyone, so it's advisable to explore and identify what strikes the best balance for you.

Sydney’s Answer
As an IT consultant, I typically clock in around 40 hours a week. Of course, there are hectic weeks where I find myself working up to 50-55 hours, but there are also quieter weeks where I manage to work just about 30 hours. One of the greatest aspects of being in the consulting field is the ability to create your own schedule. With three kids at home, the standard 9-5 work routine doesn't always fit seamlessly into my personal life. However, I've discovered that as long as I complete my tasks and meet deadlines, my team is understanding about when I choose to accomplish my work.

Hello Payton! Most office jobs require a 40-hour work week Monday through Friday. The start and end time may vary per industry or employer. Some companies also offer flexibility within the day: for example, a work day can be started anywhere from 7:30am to 9:30am, and depending on the time you start, you finish anywhere between 4:00pm to 6:00pm. This kind of flexibility can help you adjust to what makes sense for your life and preferences.

My daily work routine spans 9 hours, totaling to 45 hours in a week. I start my workday at 11:00 am and wrap it up by 08:00 pm. To maintain my health, I go running three times a week and have workout training sessions twice a week. During the weekends, I relish spending time chit-chatting with my friends.
