What are your typical work hours How many hours a week? What is your start and end time??
I am a sophmore in high school and looking at going into zoology or being in some type of therapy. I want to try to and figure out my major before making applications next year and curious how much time of my week would be dedicated to either job and when throughout the day/week would be dedicated.

Hello Amara,
YouTube has a wealth of informative videos that you might find interesting. Try searching for "Zoology lifestyle" to discover some of these. These videos can provide you with valuable insights directly from professionals in the field, especially if you're not getting many responses here. Typically, a full-time job in this field would require about 40 hours of work per week.

Generally, if your job is well-defined, with known skills and processes in the work, jobs will average around 40 hours per week. If the work requires ingenuity or on-demand skills or includes supervisory or decision-making skills, the work will vary from 50 to 80 hours per week. That is, the more exciting and rewarding the work, the more likely that you will spend more time doing the job. On average, I would say 50-55 hours per week would be a person in a professional career who still had ample time for family and social life.

Hello Amara,
Just to give you a little glimpse into my life as a zoology expert, my days typically begin an hour before the zoo opens and end an hour after it closes. The zoo's operating hours can change with the seasons, so while I might be working full-time during the summer, it might shift to part-time during the colder months. It's important to remember that jobs like these might not have a fixed schedule.
