What is the best degree?

I'm thinking of the best degree to major in college, i'm currently in 12th grade

Thank you comment icon Any degree can be the best provided you master the skills and be so unique 👌. If you just study something superficially, most jobs like medicine, law, engineering, coding would not be for you. Sayed M Naim Khalid

Choosing a major is a significant decision, and it's crucial to find something you're truly passionate about. Understand your motivations and ensure your choice aligns with them. Never opt for a major solely based on others' expectations or how much money you can make unless it genuinely excites you. Remember, you're the one who will be investing time and effort into acquiring the necessary skills or degree.

Have you enjoyed any of the subjects in high school? If not, I like Angie's answer about a gap year. College is an investment that shouldn't be taken lightly.

Hello, Jay,

If you're not sure what to major in, why not take a year off and work somewhere or travel to see what you like? Or ask yourself what really gets your attention when you are out of the house? What did you like when you were as young as five years old? Act like a detective and research yourself. Make a list of things that you are interested in and things you would never want to do. Follow your heart. What gets your pulse going? Sitting in any room, look around - everything in that room was created by someone - it's a job. What do you notice in the space? Start to really get to know yourself by questioning yourself - it's fun and you'll start to see some similarities between your likes.

Good Luck!
Have fun with this. Go Play!
