The time it takes to find a career in forensics varies. It is a semi-specific career, so the anticipated time is likely longer than say finance (more general area). There is so much you can do with forensics, and almost every industry is seeking some form of forensic employees. For example, I work at a Big 4 accounting firm as a forensic auditor. Not your typical forensic career path. Forensic accounting is a great career path to be able to work in almost any industry. Although the positions are usually limited (most companies don’t need a huge forensic team), the work is meaningful, interesting, and ever-changing. If you’re open to considering various positions in forensics, the time to get a job is likely less. Be open to new opportunities. I was, and I absolutely love my job. Good luck!
