What are the best study habits for college students?

I will be heading into college next fall and, like anyone else, am nervous about it. I was wondering what would be the best way to prepare myself for hitting the books the next level? #study

Find a routine that works for you. I needed white noise, so I would go somewhere "quiet" but have headphones with music playing to help drown out everything else and allow me to focus.

I was nervous as a senior entering Freshmen year of college as well! I think it is a feeling that comes up for many young students entering their first year of college. I prepared myself by buying a planner or creating a document with a personalized calendar that allowed me to allocate time each day for different subjects. It is essential to keep track of your classes and find a time and place where you can really focus. For me it was to plan time for each subject and go to the college library. For others it might be heading to a cafe for that allocated time. Also, having a study buddy from each of your classes is really helpful. It makes things easier and helps you to share your ideas with your study buddy and might even help you reach a higher grade in your courses.
