Seconding Mohsin's answer that if marketing is your interest and your passion, then go with SEO marketing. By getting a marketing degree, you can learn all aspects of the field and pursue a career in the direction that interests you the most!
Backend development is a completely separate field and has more to do with technology, coding, data, etc. If that sound like something you'd be interested in, I suggest doing more research on backend development and marketing, and see if you can volunteer or get an internship to get hands-on experience in both fields and determine which interests you more.

As you have mentioned that you love marketing then persue marketing.
There is a field digital marketing you can also try that instead of SEO marketing.
Backend development is totally a different domain. It requires good problem solving skills, database, data structure, logical problem solving etc. Also it requires lots of working hours too.

Deciding whether a career in SEO marketing or backend development is more suitable for you hinges on a variety of elements such as your personal abilities, passions, professional objectives, and the current job market situation.
Let's delve into each option:
1. SEO Marketing:
- SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is a sector dedicated to enhancing a website's prominence in search engine outcomes.
- If you're drawn to creativity, data analysis, and keeping pace with search engine algorithm changes, SEO marketing could be your cup of tea.
- Tasks in SEO often encompass content generation, keyword exploration, link establishment, and data scrutiny.
- Career openings in SEO can fluctuate based on industry shifts and search engine algorithms, but it's generally viewed as a burgeoning field as businesses increasingly prioritize their online visibility.
2. Backend Developer:
- Backend development is all about managing the server-side of web applications, handling databases, APIs, and server logic.
- If you're passionate about coding, resolving problems, and constructing sturdy systems, backend development could be your ideal path.
- Backend developers usually utilize languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js, and frameworks like Django, Spring, Ruby on Rails, or Express.js.
- Job prospects for backend developers are typically plentiful, as the majority of companies need backend systems to drive their web applications or services.
In the end, the "superior" job is subjective and depends on your interests, strengths, and career ambitions. It's crucial to weigh factors like your enthusiasm for the work, long-term career outlook, opportunities for growth and learning, and the job market demand in your locality. Both SEO marketing and backend development can provide gratifying careers, so it's vital to select the one that best matches your skills and dreams.
