The ability to be patient is very important when communicating with others as a lawyer. People in need of a lawyer are often in a stressful or emotional situation, so patience is needed to help understand a client's perspective. That will then enable you to communicate more effectively with them to address their needs or concerns.

Patience is key no matter what kind of attorney you want to be because to be a good lawyer you always have to be a great listener. When you are a great listener, you will become a great communicator, which will help you be a great lawyer.

I completely agree with the last response. In addition being able to be patient - staying calm and stress free while events unfold - is essential in all areas of law, especially in criminal or civil litigation that are more adversarial then other areas.
Best of luck to you.
Keep asking questions
Keep getting to know yourself and what makes sense for you as a career
Keep doing your art and other diverse interests.
Best of luck to you.
