Hey Roselyn!

That's awesome that you're looking to sell your art online. Getting more traffic to your website is totally doable! Here are some tips to help you out:

First off, make sure your website is optimized for search engines. Use keywords related to your art in your website content and meta tags to help people find you when they search online.

Next, get active on social media! Share your art regularly on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Engage with your followers and use relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience.

Consider reaching out to art bloggers or influencers in your niche. They might feature your work on their platforms, exposing you to their followers and driving traffic to your website.

Don't forget about online communities and forums where art lovers hang out. Participate in discussions, share your expertise, and casually mention your website when it's relevant.

Lastly, consider running online ads to target your ideal audience. Platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads can help you reach people who are interested in buying art.

Hope these tips help you get more traffic to your website! Keep creating and promoting your work, and you'll see those visitors roll in.

May the force be with you!

Hello, Roselyn !

You have created such an attractive, wonderful website and I congratulate you on that ! The website is just one tool to showcase your product but people will have to know about you and your company. It's good to be all over the internet, but you must consider in person public relations and non-internet exposure so people will see the web address and be moved to check it out. Not everyone is sitting on the internet looking at every art website all at once.

You can start out by networking regularly by attending art shows and galleries and having conversations with people. Also events at colleges put on by their art departments. Think about having an art show yourself and invite everyone you know. Combine your online sales with in person sales. The main point is that you want to sell your art. Consider increasing the way you promote your art and your sales very well may increase.

I would suggest getting involved with Arts Wave in your city. The more you become involved in art events, the more people will get to know you and discover your work. You can also connect with Art on Vine in your city. They have monthly Art Shows. I have left the links below for more information.

It's nice to know you have the website and any social media online, however, the internet is enormous and I think that your sales would increase if you start to gain an in person customer base. Other artists can also let you know about opportunities, too. So although it's great to be online, when it comes to art, you need to be part artist and part in person promoter of your work.

I hope that this is helpful in considering what you can do to increase your sales because that would be the focus and not clicks on a website, in my opinion. I wish you all the best and much success with your art !

P.S. Make some business cards up with the URL to your website and hand them out to people so they will know you have a website.

Michelle recommends the following next steps:

ARTS WAVE EVENTS https://www.artswave.org/impact/events
ART ON VINE https://www.artonvinecincy.com/

Very nice work, you are a talented artist.

Now, as some others have mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is marketing your website on social media. If you have an Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook account, start with posts or "reels" promoting your website and trying to drive more traffic. There are also art-based communities online, and in message board communities like Reddit, that you can also promote your site as well.

The other key component is to have a consistent identity for your website. Meaning: give people a reason to keep coming back to your website. Maybe you release new artwork once a week, or you have stuff you want to sell. Once you make your website a destination that is alive and dynamic, people will be curious to want to come back to it. It also helps you promote the site on social media because you can use platforms like Instagram to say something like, "New Drawings Released Every Monday - only at https://roselynarts.square.site/"

Promotion and growing an audience are the hardest parts of any business. Many products, upstart YouTube channels, and talented artists go unnoticed because they fail to successfully promote, or the algorithm just does not work in their favor. So don't get discouraged. Start by promoting to the people you know, and hope they will spread the word to be people they know.

It may also take time. So keep making great art, keep promoting as best as you can, and eventually it will grow.

Social Media Marketing: Get active on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Share high-quality images of your art regularly, and use relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience. Engage with your followers by responding to comments and questions.

Content Marketing: Start a blog on your website where you write about your artistic process, inspiration, and upcoming projects. This will not only give visitors a reason to keep coming back to your site but also establish you as an expert in your field.

Email Marketing: Build an email list of interested visitors and send out regular newsletters featuring your latest artwork, special offers, and exclusive content.

Collaborations: Consider collaborating with other artists or art-related businesses to cross-promote each other's work and reach new audiences.

Online Art Communities: Participate in online art communities and forums to connect with other artists and art lovers. Share your work and engage in discussions to build your reputation and get your name out there.
