Lynda.com is a great resource for editors! There is a fee but if you are a current student I believe there is a discount. You can watch tutorial videos on everything and anything.

From there - I would just practice practice practice. The more you use it the more familiar and
Comfortable you’ll get.

You can also look into courses afford at local colleges or through adobe - but be prepared to really invest money in those options.

Nicholas’s Answer

I've learned everything in Adobe Premiere Pro from watching YouTube videos. There's the general videos to get you started (building a sequence, audio, exporting, etc). Once you hone in on the specific thing (like a type of transition) you want to learn, there's quite often a video tutorial out there to help you learn it. With Premiere, your challenge may be figuring out what to learn, because there are so many features to play with. It may even feel daunting. But, take it one step at a time and build your toolkit of skills as building blocks, and keep building on those as you get more and more familiar. Just remember, it's not an overnight skill to learn. It takes a lot of practice, so devote some time to it.

With video clarity, it also comes down to equipment (camera, lighting, audio recording, mic). Search for Vlog set ups. I'm sure there's plenty of options for great equipment packages for all price ranges.

Nicholas recommends the following next steps:

Watch a video on how to set up a sequence
Watch a video on how to make titles
Watch a video on how to do transitions
Watch a video on how to add music and manage the volume of your audio throughout the video
Watch some videos of other creators you admire and make a list of at least 10 things that stand out to you that they added to their videos and start watching videos on how to recreate similar features in your videos.
