Eva’s Answer

I live in New York City. The John Jay College for Criminal Justice is an excellent school. Also, being in NYC, they can offer ample opportunities to meet people working in criminal justice.

Eva recommends the following next steps:

Do an online review of the John Jay College for Criminal Justice. Look at the courses they offer and determine if these are areas in which you'd like to work.

Hi Lundyn,
You can do so much with a criminal justice major besides criminal justice. I have friends who major in criminal justice who went on to work as social worker, teacher, and counselor. A criminal justice majors provides you with a good background in criminal justice, human behavior, and political science. There a great website, http://www.collegesource.org/, where you can enter whatever criteria you are looking for in a school such as location, size, etc.
Good Luck!
