1. Kickstart your tasks ahead of time
Seize the chance to commence your tasks earlier than planned. This helps you breeze through the initial setup stages, allowing you to craft your strategy in advance and beat procrastination.

2. Learn to say no
While it's tempting to take on every task thrown your way to prove your commitment, it's crucial to set boundaries. This prevents your schedule from becoming unmanageable and helps you dodge the stress of juggling too many tasks.

3. Take regular breaks
Carving out time for short breaks throughout your day is essential. These moments of respite allow you to unwind and return to your tasks with fresh eyes. It's a great way to keep stress at bay and maintain productivity.

4. Rank your tasks
Evaluate the importance of each task and assign them priorities. This helps you channel your energy where it's most needed. Regularly practicing this will help you better organize your schedule and decide which tasks to delegate.

5. Plan your tasks and deadlines
Set aside time to create a thorough schedule for each task and set firm deadlines. This helps you visualize your workload and understand your work pace. Regularly updating your schedule is a good habit that can enhance your planning and prioritizing skills.

6. Keep your workspace tidy
A well-organized workspace saves you time by eliminating the need to hunt for materials. Plus, honing your organizational skills strengthens your planning abilities. A clutter-free workspace reduces daily stress and boosts productivity.

7. Understand your productivity rhythm
Everyone has unique productivity patterns throughout the day. Identifying your most productive times helps you utilize your day more effectively. Scheduling less demanding tasks during your slower periods ensures your peak productivity is dedicated to more important tasks.

8. Leverage technology for accountability
Time tracking and daily management software are valuable tools for enhancing productivity. These tools help you create realistic schedules and prevent distractions or procrastination by keeping you accountable.

9. One task at a time
While multitasking might seem efficient, focusing on one task at a time often leads to faster, higher-quality results. This approach also minimizes potential distractions.

10. Reward your good habits
Celebrate your accomplishments and productivity improvements with small rewards. This not only reduces stress but also motivates you to continue honing your time-management skills.

Jerome’s Answer

Remind yourself what you are doing it all for. For me, I knew I wanted better than the life I had growing up and the reality was, if I didn't prioritize things correctly, I was only harming my ability to accomplish my goals.

I have tried MANY different things, but what has worked well is using my calendar. Before the week begins, I look at what I need to do for the week and I plug things in. Blocking time for what is important is crucial. You also know when you are at your best. If you are a night owl, studying in the morning might not make sense. Put the most important things during times when you are at your best.

Find someone to help hold you accountable. Could be a mentor or simply someone else working on their goals/life. Be honest with things that went well and when you come up short. Each week you get a clean slate to move your life forward. Hope this helps!

Visualizing your time can be a great way to manage it effectively. Consider dividing your day into one-hour slots using a physical planner or Google Calendar. Assign different colors to different tasks, helping you see how much time you're devoting to each task every week. While it's tempting to fill your schedule to the brim, don't forget to carve out time for meals, rest, and personal leisure. This balance is key to maintaining your productivity.

The Pomodoro technique can also be beneficial. This method involves working for 45 minutes, then taking a 10-minute break. It's a great way to ensure you have dedicated, uninterrupted work or study time throughout the day, especially when you're tackling a lengthy task or study session.

Another helpful strategy is to set mini-deadlines for your tasks. This can help you stay ahead and avoid last-minute rushes, which often lead to mistakes or subpar work. Try breaking down big tasks into smaller ones, set a deadline for each, and do your best to stick to them.

I hope these tips prove useful to you!

Hello Lachlann! Here are some practical steps to improve your time management:

- Hunt down a time cube or any other timing device you have at home like your phone or microwave timer. Utilize these timers to allocate specific time slots for each task. For instance, dedicate 20 minutes solely to reading a book, free from any other distractions.
- Time your routine activities. This will give you a clear picture of the actual time required to complete tasks, assisting you in future time estimations.
- Tackle the most challenging task of the day first. This strategy ensures that you're at your peak energy levels, making the task less daunting and the rest of the day's tasks relatively easier.
- Invest in a planner, agenda, or calendar. These tools will help you organize your day, jot down pending tasks, and tick off completed ones.
- Incorporate brief breaks into your daily schedule. These pauses will help rejuvenate and refocus your mind.
- Ensure that each day includes at least one activity that you genuinely enjoy and look forward to, rather than just tasks that need to be done.

Thank you for your question. Many students have similar question. Time management is important to everyone. Firstly, you need to find a time management tool that suitable to you, e.g. Google Calendar, MS Outlook, your phone calendar, etc.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Put down the time you need to attend classes
2. Assign some time everyday for your assignment, projects, etc. and have some time to do revision on the material covered on the day in the class
3. Make sure you have enough sleep and do some exercise
4. You can allocate some time for leisure, friends & family gathering
5. You may assign more time for revision before assessment or examination
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

It can be helpful to schedule your time daily, hourly, or in whatever interval of time works the best for you. Writing down this schedule can also be beneficial because you will have a visual for what your time will look like and will remind you of the important tasks. Calendars are a great tool for keeping track of time for your activities. It can also be helpful to prioritize your activities by completing the most important task first to ensure that it gets done on time.
