Read books, watch movies/TV, take a walk in the woods, the city, wherever. Jot down everything that strikes you as funny, sad, tragic, inspirational, amazing, awe-inspiring, whatever it takes to get those creative juices flowing. Then, it all comes down to two words that I tell everyone who wants to write.....
Just write.
Just write.
Thanks, can't wait to put this advice into action!

Grace’s Answer
I've been writing for newspapers for over five years. At first, It was people and their businesses, covering their shops, what they sold, history of the business, who their customers were, etc.
For four years now, I write arts and entertainment articles, covering the stories of various artists, writing play or musical reviews, etc.
I come up with interview questions about their craft, what inspired them, advice they have for aspiring artists, their business success, etc.
Find subjects you are passionate about and narrow down to one or two.
Make an outline of these topics
Choose one that you know the most about.
Write another outline or use bullet points
Write questions you want them to answer

Hey Mhiz,
You can get started with writing by... well, writing.
Write about anything. Your day, a memory, what you saw that day, a story you've been wanting to see... etc.
You can also read books, watch movies, and examine the surroundings around you to get ideas. You could even people-watch!
I hope this advice is of some help to you.

Here's what I have for you, pal, "write every day;"
It's as simple as that....
The path to self-discovery is narrow and endless at the same time. I never knew how great I am at writing until I started doing it every day.
Just imagine yourself waking up with a fresh thought and a unique idea every morning! It's possible when you start practising the same thing (but with a distinct style) every day.
When starting out,
〰️ Explore nature.
〰️ Write about the moment
〰️ Things that matters to you
〰️ Write about your passion.
Just anything that will hold and maintain you in that writing flow.
Do not try to be perfect, instead allow the flow. Because when next you come back to that same piece (few hours or a day), I promise you that you won't leave it the same way.
You'll refine it, and you'll make gold out of it.
Yes, you can start this way.
For me, it's more easier going through this route.
And the best part is that, the more you write, the more you get better at writing to "solve a need."
I hope this can help, and I wish you all the best.

Abraham’s Answer
Hey Mhiz,
I've got 3 words for you; "JUST GET STARTED!"
As simple as those words may sound, that's the key to doing anything. You'll never write if you never get started. The most tricky part of excelling in any venture is your passion, which you already show you've got. That said, passion alone isn't enough to become a writer. You need the courage to put your pen to paper, and the courage to keep writing even if you don't seem to be making progress. The Law of Accumulation becomes very vital here; if you do something often enough, you get better at it. You get a ratio of results which tend to increase with time. Just keep writing regardless of the quality, and your writing will continue to improve.
The biggest question for young writers is always, what to write about. To that, I say, write about things you love. It could be about food, fashion, study skills, financial intelligence, your favorite books and why, sports, how you built good habits, you name it. The good news is, you don't need a college degree or be a top professional in a field to write about it. What you do need is the willingness to read more in your chosen writing field and the desire to improve a little bit every single day.
Finally, as you keep growing in your writing, you may need to seek out a mentor; someone who has succeeded in your field and is willing to help bring out your potential. I hope this helps not only Mhiz, but anyone else who might find my answer useful.
1. Get started even if you don't feel ready
2. Write every single day, at least 30 minutes
3. Read something everyday about the things you want to be writing about
4. Be prepared to work your way through the early "failures"
5. Find someone who can help refine your skills.

Alejandra’s Answer
The advice would be, start writing about something you love like running and all the improvement it brings to your life. Another way is to write about a specific moment of the day, for example from the moment you get up from bed until you get in school. Change the person, instead of using I, switch to you and so on to see of you can create diferent caracters.
I appreciate this, thank you for the advice.

Glory’s Answer
First find your niche. Where do you think you're good in and can make valuable impact in.
Once you find that, you register for a course relating to your niche towards writing. This is to build your skill because you can't teach what don't have.
After start creating writing content in any of your desirable socail media platforms and stay consistent.
Read books and articles too

Hi Mhiz, I am a fellow writer and love it with all my heart. However, I did ask myself the same question once. I would suggest building your writing around your dreams. Your dreams give you an endless amount of ammunition to write about. It also fuels your writing so you don't get fatigued in the long run.
