If you want to become an artist in the future, like an actor or a singer, there are some important things you can do to get noticed. First, work hard to get better at what you do by practicing and learning new things. Building up a strong collection of your best work, like photos or videos, is also really important. This shows people what you can do.
It's also helpful to meet and connect with people who work in the entertainment industry. You can do this by going to events or workshops where you can meet professionals who might help you or collaborate with you. Using social media, like Instagram or YouTube, is another great way to show off your work and connect with fans and other artists.
Consider getting help from talent agents or managers who can promote you and find opportunities for you to show your talent. Look for auditions or performance opportunities in your local area or online. And don't give up, even if it's tough sometimes. Keep working hard, looking for chances to show your talent, and believing in yourself. By doing these things, you'll have a better chance of getting noticed and succeeding as an artist in the entertainment world.

Begin by enrolling in acting classes and strive to excel in your craft. Hone your skills and learn to captivate live audiences. The more you perform, the greater your chances of catching the eye of industry professionals like producers, agents, and managers. Network with fellow actors and establish meaningful connections. Unfortunately, I'm not certain what "an actors singer" implies, so I can't provide a specific response to that.
Once you've made a name for yourself in your local community and earned recognition for your talent, proceed with the steps mentioned in the previous response. Remember, success in this industry is a marathon, not a sprint. So, stay persistent and don't lose heart. Good luck on your journey, it may be challenging but it's also incredibly rewarding.

Hello, Davise !
If you are already a professional singer and actor you most likely would be familiar with the routine. I want you to keep asking questions about specific elements of the entertainment industry as I believe that I could help.
Promoting yourself is just a small part of the business. The important elements that will naturally lead you to opportunities are education, training, experience and location depending on where you want to perform.
Professional actors do not get work in only one medium like film. As an actor, you need to be ready and capable of performing on stage, film, T.V., radio, internet, print and any other new opportunities that are offered. So I would like for you to enjoy broadening your scope and begin learning what Acting is. That's okay - it's always a mystery at first, but now should be the time that you explore acting to get an understanding as to what it really is and what you can bring to acting that makes it unique. I would advise formal academics for this and most highly recommend obtaining at least a Bachelors Degree. Actors do not need college or a Bachelors Degree, however, it is very important to prepare for times when there is no acting work. You can get the degree in Theatre, Film or any subject you like. Do it while you're young and don't postpone college. You can take acting courses in college. Getting my Bachelors Degree in Theatre opened a ton of doors for me in this career in an academic environment - leads to jobs and much experience in the community for professional entertainment companies.
You have to start interacting with your local theatre, video and film communities. Once you have learned the theories and techniques through college courses and feel confident, the people you meet will be among the first to offer opportunities to you. I caution against sending out promotional material if you've never acted before or have very little experience. Acting takes time for all of the various facets, so it's not something that is attained just because you want it. I am just saying this because I don't want you to be disappointed. Most of us have been there at first, not knowing how to go about it and what to do. We've learned first hand that developing as a professional actor takes time and the timing is different for each person.
Do not try to put yourself out there as a professional actress on social media, trust me. You'll be hidden in the crowd and not be taken seriously, just being honest. The only time you'll be doing videos will be if a casting agency requests a reel or video audition. Keep it focused and directed to professional level expectations. Once you have a substantial amount of acting experience with credits from your local area, than you will submit your profile and photo to casting agencies online for roles and extra work in background in film and T.V. You don't promote yourself, your agent does. An agent chooses you based on what you've shown them and that they believe that you are marketable and that they can benefit by getting you a lot of work. They take 20% of your pay and than pay you. So basically, that's how it goes, honestly, and as with any other career, it should be approached step by step and not rushed.
Please do ask more questions about specifics, what country you want the career in, including at what level in acting you are at and I would be very happy to discuss things further with you here at Career Village. Don't give up and do enjoy the journey ! Best wishes to you !
