Starting your internship hunt? Great! Your college's career planning office is an excellent place to kick things off. They're equipped with a wealth of internship leads that you can apply to. Plus, they're more than happy to help spruce up your resume and provide handy tips for acing your interviews. Some colleges even organize mock interviews, giving you a chance to practice your responses before the actual interview.
Don't forget to check out LinkedIn for more internship opportunities. Having a bit of a tough time securing an internship? No worries! Consider volunteering. Not only does it beef up your resume, but it also gives you valuable experiences to share during an interview.

Hello, CVOH !
Yes, there are resources that can help with exploring Internships.
One of the helpful resources is right on the college campus itself. Most colleges have Career Centers that could be an important part of discovering internships. If a student wants a particular internship in their major, they can also easily visit the dean or chairperson of that department for supplemental resources that the Career Center hasn't yet been informed of.
Another one of the several resources are the contacts one can make through family and friends who are working in the career that the student wishes to pursue. These people may work at companies that offer internships and sometimes the information is discovered by word of mouth.
If a student directly contacts various companies, businesses and agencies they are able to inquire if an internship is available. Another resource which is very useful are employment websites at which a student can register and set the criteria for notifications for internships in their field of study. They can set to be notified daily, weekly and other options. Internships usually require a resume and a cover letter. Letters of recommendation also help in the application process.
In addition, there are many websites that have resources for high school, college, summer, short term and various other internships. There are also a lot of videos on You Tube which can guide a student about internships. The student can first search in their town and city for on site internships. Than they can search for statewide and national remote online internships depending on what the field of work is. So there are many ways to go about discovering the many internships that exist. Many of the particular colleges a student attends have web pages dedicated to that college's internships. In other words, if the student attends UCLA, they could possibly find internships on the UCLA college website. Internships vary from college to college, town to town and state by state so there really isn't a comprehensive book or manual listing every internship.
No matter what path for an internship a student takes, I wish them all the best and hope that this is helpful.

Hi! Knowing companies in your area that you would be interested in and then going through their career website and searching for internship roles that may be a good fit for you and applying. Emailing their HR reps and asking what they have available. Persistently being on a look out. And of course, volunteering at different places may definitely help you land an internship!
