For individuals unsure about their career path, choosing a field with broad applications and opportunities for diverse experiences can be advantageous. Fields such as business management, communications, and information technology offer a wide range of roles across industries, allowing for exploration and flexibility. Engaging in internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer work in various sectors can also provide practical insights and help clarify interests and strengths. Additionally, seeking guidance through career counseling or mentorship programs can offer personalized advice and direction, aiding in the discovery of a fulfilling career path.

Thank you for your question. Many students have similar question. Firstly, you need to find out what careers you have interest first.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what you have interest, e.g. your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc. and identify the related careers
E.g. If you like music, would you like to be a musician, singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc.
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hi, Erin. You pose a thoughtful question. Let me provide you with what I trust is a thoughtful answer. None. No career path is suitable until you have a very firm concept of who you are and what difference you want to make in this world.
Note--that concept need not be perfect or 100% clear, and it is certainly subject to alteration or amendment as your progress in life, but without a final destination in mind, you are beginning a voyage without a goal. Do that and you you may well end up just drifting, not making the mark you are destined to make.
If you have seen the movie City Slickers, you will recall the scene in which the dudes ask Curly, the trail boss, what the meaning of life is. Curly holds up one finger and says: just one thing.
The dudes press him: what is it?
Curly replies: Oh, no. You've got to find that for yourself!
Erin, find out what one thing motivates you the most. What is your biggest driver. From that knowledge career paths and choices will become clear. Some of the happiest people on earth are those whose vocation matches their avocation. May you be one such.
It may take time, but the discovery is well worth your journey and effort!
I wish you great success and happiness!
God bless you.

Dedicate your energy and passion to delve deeper and confirm.
1) What activities truly spark your joy?
2) What are you so passionate about that you'd happily do it without any payment? Like your hobbies, perhaps?
3) Try out a few part-time jobs. Gain some real-world experience in roles and settings that might appeal to you.
4) Engage in conversations and pay visits to people at their workplaces in the field that piques your interest.
