Embarking on the journey to success after school is an exhilarating adventure filled with endless possibilities. It all begins with setting your sights on clear, captivating goals that ignite your passion and purpose. Define what success means to you by setting specific, achievable goals for your personal and professional life. Having clear objectives will give you direction and motivation.
Once you have defined goals, create a strategic plan outlining the steps you need to take to achieve your goals. Break down your goals into smaller, manageable tasks and establish deadlines for completing them. Be proactive in pursuing your goals and seizing opportunities. Don't wait for things to happen—take initiative, be resourceful, and actively seek out ways to progress in your personal and professional life.
Success often requires perseverance and resilience in the face of challenges and obstacles. Stay committed to your goals, maintain a positive attitude, and keep pushing forward, even when things get tough. By following these steps and staying committed to your goals, you can move your life forward in a positive direction and achieve success after school.

Hello, Opeoluwa !
I would be happy to give some advice even though I do not know what specific things you'd like to do or the changes you want to make or add in your life. But one thing is for sure, to forge ahead you may have to make a decision to go to college and leave your town and perhaps even relocate when it comes to seeking a career (depending on what the career would be). Although extremely small towns work for people at various times in their lives, as a young person, you can start to explore which areas may afford you more and better opportunities overall. I would have to know specifics to give you the most accurate advice.
I, of course, suggest finishing high school. Depending on what grade you are in now, you can start looking at career interests and colleges and find out when to apply. This is fine to do if you're undecided or at any point you feel ready to do so.
I can relate to you in a way. I was born and raised in a small town, albeit it was 12 times larger than your town in population, and there was absolutely really no opportunity for a young person there at the time. I relocated to the other side of the country to a small city which provided so much opportunity - it was culture shock (which was a good thing). In my birth town at the time, you had the limited choices of working at IBM which was a commute or at the local hospital. So figure out which industry you want to work in, where the opportunities for it will be and that can be a factor that helps you decide what to do. My town also lacked sufficient choices for colleges, too - just one community college and one private expensive college. So analyze your present location and see where you may or may not have the doors open for you. The choice is all up to you.
Most people go to college or employment after high school. Some go to vocational school for a specific line of work. Depending on what field of work you want to go into, you could also get your degree online if you don't want to relocate. Do a search for your subject for online colleges and see if is an option for you. Depending on what you decide, if you want to eventually relocate, you can find employment perhaps at your nearby golf courses or one of the nearby airports so you can save money for relocating.
I would advise that you continue to reach out here with specific questions if you have any more so that we can offer more ideas for you. Remember that it will take a lot of exploring to figure out what you should do but whatever you decide, I wish you well !
