Also, why not take AP courses? They can earn you credits and help you concentrate more on Computer Engineering or Science later on.
If your SAT score and GPA are pretty solid, you should have a good shot at getting into a state college. Try to keep your student loans to a minimum and look out for scholarship opportunities. Remember, it's about how much you push yourself, not just the college you attend.
My own son attended a state school for a STEM program and he's doing amazingly well.
