Sports-Life-School Balance
Hello! Does anyone have any recommendations for how to balance life-work-sports? I am in Spring Track and Field, and I'm having trouble finding a balance.

Thank you for your question. Many students are facing challenges. Firstly, you need to identify a time management tool that suits, e.g. Google Calendar, MS Outlook, your phone calendar, etc.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Put down the time you need to attend classes
2. Assign some time everyone for your assignment, projects, etc. and review the class material covered in the day
3. Allocate the time for our sports practise
4. Make sure you have time to sleep
5. If you have some spare time, you can have some leisure time or gathering with your friends & family
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hi Sydney, balancing sports and school/work can be challenging. I think there are some key principles to keep in mind, but it may be al dependent on your schedule. I remember when I was in university, that I had a part time job and also played soccer competitively. The biggest thing was that my schedule for school permitted me to do this. - Here are is my advice:
- Do not negotiate sleep. Try to get 7-8 hours a night as much as possible.
-Be cleat that your priority is School and your sports. And let your family and friends know.
-Be aggressive with time management. I find that if you give yourselves an hour to do a task (homework) you'll do it, but if you give yourself 25 min, you'll get it done as well.
- Ensure you are getting enough food and hydration.
- Social connection is key. Maybe prioritize social gatherings during the weekend or whenever it makes sense.
- Be positive, it will all work out.

Hello Sydney,
Juggling the roles of a student and an athlete can indeed be tough, but remember, it's crucial to carve out some 'me' time in your daily or weekly routine.
Ensure you're getting plenty of sleep, staying hydrated with lots of water, and arranging your tasks in order of importance.
Never hesitate to seek help when you need it, and rely on your loved ones for that extra boost of support.
Keep your spirits high! You're capable of amazing things! You've totally got this!

Balancing life, work, and Spring Track and Field requires prioritization, scheduling, and effective time management. Communicate your commitments with coaches, teachers, and employers for support. Set realistic goals and take care of your well-being through proper nutrition, sleep, and relaxation. Stay organized with planners or apps, and be flexible to adapt to changes. Delegate tasks when necessary and enjoy the journey, celebrating your achievements along the way.
