Kathleen’s Answer

The salary for most Healthcare positions is variable by state. And typically with a higher the degree, Bachelor vs Associate, the salary is higher. There are many opportunities in the field of nuclear medicine and as any medical degree, there is a high concentration of science courses in high school and college. All Healthcare positions are demanding, so dedication to the field is really necessary. If your interests and abilities are in line with this job, you will find that the work itself is interesting and rewarding.

Aisha’s Answer

Hello Jamilet,

The compensation in the field of nuclear medicine can vary, influenced by elements such as your experience, geographical location, and the organization you work for. Generally, it's structured around a fixed salary rather than being tied to commission or performance incentives. Your pay can also be positively impacted by your qualifications, area of expertise, and level of education. While those starting out in the profession might earn a bit less, remember that with experience and growth, your earning potential increases significantly.

Best,

Martin’s Answer

No. Your pay will be based on your salary or hourly amount. It would be illegal for you to get paid based on what the procedure is billed at, or paid on. You would be an employee or contractor to that practice with same entitlements as any other. Your education or skill level may affect that base pay, but never based on that is charged.
