Traditionally, pre-med students major in either Bio or Chem. This is certainly NOT required. I have even heard of a movement where students are being encouraged to major in non-science disciplines to give them a more rounded education.
You can probably go to just about any college/university's web page and see what the requirements are for a given major. It will give you an idea of what classes are required, and often the order in which to take them. You may also want to talk to your high school college counsellor, who can give you the most current advice.

Hello Adewale,
What a fantastic question you've asked! If you're aiming to become a dermatologist, here's a friendly guide for you. Start by concentrating on a pre-medical path during your college years. This includes taking classes in subjects such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Math. It's important to choose a major that not only interests you, but also meets the pre-medical requirements.
In addition to your academics, get involved in extracurricular activities that show your dedication to the medical field. When it's time, start preparing for the MCAT and remember to keep your GPA high. Once you've made it through medical school, the next step is to complete a residency program specifically in dermatology.
Keep going strong,
Aisha
