How can I get a high-paying job as a Computer Science student? I am an incoming freshman at a large university, and it is hard to get into the Comp Sci program in the first place, so how would I even know if I could land a job if the field is getting oversaturated?

Devoid of how saturated the market is, your starting point is almost going to be the same for every path in computer science. Take that first step, dip your toes in. Once you do while you're in a workplace, you will get 1000% more visibility into career paths that might benefit you, that might interest you, and you'll probably know the answer to if that path is going to have a scope in the future.
