How can I advertise babysitting?
My name is Liza, and I've been trying to advertise babysitting, but it doesn't seem like it has been working. I'm very experienced with kids but I am also still 14, and going into 9th grade. It'd be great to get some tips on how to advertise better/what I could try to make it better with.

I am someone who has hired lots of babysitters! As a young person, you need to network where the moms (and dads) are.
1. Our town has a local facebook page, as do most communities. It is almost a bulletin board of advice, etc. Put a post out noting that you are a babysitter and you will likely get some people reaching out directly.
2. Combine resources with your friends and have them refer you. I used to have a babysitter that I loved, and when she was unavailable, she'd send me directly to one of her friends - it kept me both loyal to her, as she'd solve my problem, helped her friends get jobs, and expanded my list of sitters.
3. Find one mom (or dad) and ask them to recommend them to their friends. One thing that often happens here is that the high school kids will do "camps" for the younger kids, or they'll have a friend with a younger sibling. If any of your friends have younger siblings, ask the parent to share with the siblings friend group.
