How do I become a successful Special education teacher?
I am a sophomore and I have had more experience with special education dancers, students, and adults than most people at my age. Working with special education individuals has always been an interest of mine and I definitely feel like there needs to be more people to help them. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question!

You need to get into a Bachelors in Education program with an emphasis on Special Education. Decide if you want to work with Elementary or Secondary students. You can shadow a teacher to see if this is something you really want to do. Special Education teachers have to do a lot of paperwork. Are you organized and a good planner?
