Hi Blaine
You have received some excellent advice from Nikolas. And I agree 100% with his thoughts. I would further add that maintaining that focus on client and employees throughout the duration of your strategic plan is equally important. You can achieve this by intentionally establishing check-in points with both parties to gage their level of engagement and satisfaction with the process. This will help to make certain you are still on point with them, much like checking in to make certain your plans and activities are still aligned with your vision and mission. If you find that they are not aligned or engaged you can make the necessary adjustments to get back on track. These conscious actions will allow for a solid yet flexible strategic plan and execution.
Best wishes for your success.

The two best resources I know of for learning to run a business are this workbook (https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/bc/content/ldsorg/topics/self-reliance/2017/14678_sgmb_book_eng.pdf?lang=eng) and Dave Ramsey's book EntreLeadership.

I hope you're fine. I have shared the same advice again in this portal, however I honestly feel that clients and employees must remain at the center of every business strategy. Such an approach fosters a positive work environment and drives continuous improvement, innovation and customer loyalty and satisfaction - all directly connected to revenue and profit. I cannot overstate enough how important people centricity is in creating a sustainable and thriving business model. And guess what. Both employees and clients are deeply connected. When employees feel valued and supported the are more productive and motivated, leading to better customer service, leading to better customer experiences. Ultimately, a business that integrates this philosophy can achieve long-term success and resilience, making the difference in an extremely competitive market.
