AI can be a fun world. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that deals with the creation of intelligent agents, which are systems that can reason, learn, and act autonomously. Here's a breakdown of what AI entails:
* Goal of mimicking human intelligence: AI is driven by the idea of creating machines that can perform tasks typically requiring human intelligence. This includes tasks such as learning from data, recognizing patterns, solving problems, and making decisions.
* Subfields within AI: There are various subfields within AI, each focusing on different aspects of intelligent behavior. Some popular subfields include:
* Machine learning: This field focuses on algorithms that can learn from data without being explicitly programmed.
* Natural language processing: This field deals with the interaction between computers and human language.
* Computer vision: This field deals with enabling computers to see and interpret the world around them.
* Applications of AI: AI has a wide range of applications across various industries, including:
* Self-driving cars
* Facial recognition
* Fraud detection
* Medical diagnosis
* Stock market prediction
These are just a few but there is so much more and so many things that can be done. Hope this helps!!!

I'm going to try to interpret your meaning. First, don't try to figure out what AI means yet. Its a concept that is still evolving. We use AI (Artificial Intelligence) as a term right now but I don't think is well-defined and definitely not for a young mind to encapsulate. Keep your mind open to wonder and discovery. Always read and watch and ask questions so you can form your own basis of understanding. Your personal AI is the way you define what you see when you have questions that need to be answered. If you know something , like the color of your shirt, you answer that question easily when asked. When you don't know something, you try to piece together the answer using what you do know then ask others questions to help aid you to come to a final answer. Well, AI is like you. The difference is that AI needs human definitions added to its database to help define what is doesn't have an answer for at this time. If it gathers input from many different people, more questions can then be both saved and - here is where computers come into play - quickly matched against many inputs fast to get more and more precise responses. AI will be an important part of your world as your age so make sure you keep your mind sharp and learn and think and share your views accurately so AI can be more like you!

Rajesh Kumar’s Answer
AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is a field of computer science that focuses on the development of intelligent machines that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. It involves the study and creation of algorithms, models, and systems that enable computers to simulate human intelligence and behavior.
AI encompasses various subfields, including:
Machine Learning: This involves developing algorithms and models that allow computers to learn from data and make predictions or decisions without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning is used in applications such as image recognition, natural language processing, and recommendation systems.
Natural Language Processing (NLP): NLP focuses on enabling computers to understand, interpret, and generate human language. It involves tasks like speech recognition, sentiment analysis, language translation, and chatbots.
Computer Vision: Computer vision involves the development of algorithms that enable computers to understand and interpret visual content, such as images and videos. Applications include object recognition, facial recognition, and autonomous vehicles.
Robotics: AI is closely connected with robotics, which combines AI techniques with mechanical engineering to create intelligent machines that can interact with the physical world. Robotics involves tasks such as perception, planning, and control.
Expert Systems: Expert systems are AI systems that use knowledge and rules to solve complex problems in specific domains. They attempt to mimic the decision-making process of human experts and are used in areas like medical diagnosis and financial analysis.
Neural Networks: Neural networks are a class of algorithms inspired by the structure and functioning of the human brain. They are used in deep learning, which involves training complex models with multiple layers to learn patterns and make predictions.
The goal of AI is to create machines that can perform tasks autonomously, adapt to new situations, and exhibit intelligent behavior. While AI has made significant advancements in recent years, it is still a rapidly evolving field with ongoing research and development.

Hi Manolo - this is an excellent question, and you have received excellent feedback already. My employer, IBM, provides helpful educational resources, many without cost - see first two links below. You could even earn a badge in AI Fundamentals at no cost.
Other companies, such as Google, also have educational resources along with descriptions of their approaches. I have put one link below, but there are many others.
It is helpful to avoid thinking about AI as all good or all bad. Much depends on how it is built (i.e., as free of bias as possible, which takes time, money, and effort) and how it is used (i.e., AI is great for doing research quickly but not at making value judgements). The links I provided expand on both of these points.
Good luck!

Reema’s Answer
Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is all about developing computer systems that can perform tasks usually needing human intelligence. It's about designing algorithms and models that allow machines to understand their surroundings, learn from information, make reasoned decisions, and solve problems on their own. AI can be used for simple tasks like recognizing speech and suggesting systems (like those used by Netflix or Amazon) to more complicated tasks like self-driving cars, processing natural language (like chatbots and language translation), and diagnosing medical conditions. Important techniques in AI include machine learning, where algorithms learn from information, and deep learning, which uses neural networks modeled after the human brain. AI is revolutionizing sectors like healthcare, finance, transportation, and entertainment. Current research is centered on enhancing AI's abilities, ethical issues, and societal effects.
