Hi Sage,

Don't rest on your laurels: Although graduating high school is an amazing accomplishment, it is not an end rather the beginning of adulthood. For some that means heading to college or others who pursue working full-time. There is a lot more to achieve out there, and it requires motivation and dedication. High school graduation shouldn't be your only accomplishment.

Don't be afraid to try new things even though you're not good at it: It's easy to spend your life doing something that is within your comfort zone. Growth only happens when you step outside that comfort zone and take risks. We may not succeed in everything we attempt, but giving up is your choice.

Hello Sage,
1. Experience is the best teacher, explore,work, and interact with as many jobs, interests,fields. Through working psych tech jobs I have found a passion for caring really vulnerable people.

2. The book "range" by David Epstein I think is a must read for anyone. It's about why people who experience and knowledge from different domains(generalize) are typically more fulfill with their careers than those who specialized early.

3. There's always someone who's in a much better situation than you and there's always someone who's in a much situation than you.

4. Just read more books.

Here's a motivating piece of advice for those about to graduate high school: Take a moment to seriously contemplate your interests and passions. Engage actively in these areas, so when high school ends and it's time to choose a college, you'll have a clearer vision of what you'd like to major in. You might even discover a new passion that could shape your future.

Discover what ignites your passion and dedicate yourself to learning everything possible about it, using school or other available resources. There's a wealth of knowledge out there and numerous free tools to help you acquire the necessary skills.

In addition, start educating yourself about investment strategies as early as possible. This will provide you with a significant head start in preparing for your retirement. Remember, it's never too soon to begin planning for your future and building your personal wealth.
